Electrophysiology Services

Heartbeat MD delivers advanced cardiac rhythm care—from precise diagnosis to minimally invasive procedures and long-term device management—tailored by Dr. Simsolo.

Arrhythmia Evaluation & EP Study

Comprehensive rhythm assessment with intracardiac mapping to pinpoint the source of atrial and ventricular arrhythmias.

Catheter Ablation (AFib, SVT, PVCs, VT)

Minimally invasive ablation using radiofrequency or cryo to eliminate abnormal pathways and restore normal rhythm.

Atrial Fibrillation Management

Personalized rhythm or rate-control strategy, anticoagulation guidance, and risk-factor optimization.

Pacemakers & Leadless Pacemakers

Implantation and programming for symptomatic bradycardia and conduction disease, including MRI-conditional systems.

ICDs & Cardiac Resynchronization (CRT)

Defibrillators for sudden cardiac death prevention and CRT for heart-failure patients with dyssynchrony.

Left Atrial Appendage Closure

Non-pharmacologic stroke-risk reduction for AFib patients who are not ideal candidates for long-term anticoagulation.

Cardioversion & Antiarrhythmic Therapy

Electrical cardioversion and evidence-based antiarrhythmic medication selection with close safety monitoring.

Implantable Loop Recorders

Long-term rhythm surveillance for unexplained syncope, cryptogenic stroke, or intermittent palpitations.

Remote Device Monitoring

Continuous follow-up of pacemakers, ICDs, CRT, and loop recorders with proactive alerts and rapid care adjustments.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does an Electrophysiologist do?
An electrophysiologist specializes in diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders such as atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia, ventricular tachycardia, and premature ventricular contractions. Care often includes ablation procedures, pacemaker/ICD implantation, and advanced rhythm monitoring.
What kinds of procedures are offered?
We provide catheter ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator implantation, cardioversion, implantable loop recorders, and left atrial appendage closure for stroke prevention. All procedures are evidence-based and tailored to each patient’s condition and goals.
Do you accept insurance?
No. Heartbeat MD operates on a direct-pay and concierge model. This ensures you receive personalized care without delays, restrictions, or third-party interference. All pricing is transparent and discussed up front.
What is concierge electrophysiology care?
Concierge care means direct access to Dr. Simsolo, priority scheduling, extended consultation time, and ongoing rhythm monitoring. Patients can contact the physician directly for urgent concerns and receive a higher level of individualized support.
Is recovery time required after ablation?
Most patients return home the same day or after an overnight stay. Light activity can resume quickly, though strenuous activity may be limited for a few days. Your recovery plan is personalized based on the procedure performed.

What Patients Are Saying

Real stories from people receiving concierge electrophysiology care at Heartbeat MD.

After years of atrial fibrillation, Dr. Simsolo explained my options clearly and recommended ablation. The procedure was smooth, recovery was quicker than I expected, and my energy is back. I can finally exercise without worrying about my heart racing.
Michael T.
I had daily palpitations from PVCs that were disrupting my sleep. The EP study pinpointed the focus and Dr. Simsolo ablated it the same day. Weeks later, my smartwatch shows normal rhythm and I’m sleeping through the night.
Sarah L.
I was nervous about getting a pacemaker, but the team walked me through every step. The implant was minimally invasive, and remote monitoring gives me peace of mind. I feel steady and clear—no more dizzy spells.
Daniel R.
